DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
Ford Civil delivered the Civil Earthworks for two stations, Kellyville and Rouse Hill, of the Sydney Metro Northwest rail link. The Project involved the delivery of civil earthworks for station construction, multilevel and on-grade carparks, access roads, T-way interchange and dedicate busway, intersection upgrades, services installation and earthworks for landscaping and footpaths. All works were coordinated with CPB and their nominated contractors. The works involved multiple staging to facilitate other trades and ongoing site works, traffic and pedestrian movements including maintaining the bus transit lane, access to Rouse Hill shopping centre and Windsor Rd and adjacent major arterial roads traffic flows.

• Stormwater Drainage (Incl. Temporary stormwater runoff basins, Pit and pipe network, Multiple GPT unit installation, Swale and outlet work to creeks, & Connections to Sydney Water Assets)
• Subgrade and Pavement installation (Incl. RMS Pavement Specification, Median island drainage and construction, Extension of existing turning lanes, T-way construction, Bus interchange, Intersection upgrades)
• Detail excavation preparation
• F-Type Barrier installation along Windsor Road
• Services installation including construction of Major Electrical Substation
