DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The Green Square Roadworks Package 2B project involves the construction of three new City of Sydney streets; Paul Street, Sonny Leonard Street and Tosh Lane. Construction is occurring simultaneously with Westbourne Construction’s adjacent build of new apartment complexes. Initial stages of works involved the remediation of site (up to 1.25m deep), replacing contaminated material with VENM and the installation of a marker layer & capping layer. With a majority of the services installed, Ford are currently completing finishing works, including bluestone kerbs and concrete footpaths, with completion expected early May 2019.
KEY FEATURES
• Remediation of subgrade up to 1.25 metres deep and installation of marker layer fabric & capping layer
• Installation of services; sewer, stormwater drainage, potable water, recycled water, street lighting (including smart poles), HV and LV electrical, and gas
• Civil works include; concrete footpath, bluestone kerb and paving, landscaping works, and asphalted roadways
