The project involved construction of a new pedestrian network in the old rail corridor in Ultimo. Works included upgrading the new stormwater system, installing new street lighting, new trees & garden beds and new footpath pavement construction. There was also the erection of a large stone sculpture ‘Life’ which was the feature piece of the project. The work was quite detailed and restrictive in the sense works had to be programmed to maintain access, as well as working around live HV railway cables. The project was delivered on time and to the satisfaction of the client.
